So I have been told of a change that is going to be made at work, sometime in the indeterminately near future. It is secret, though. It involves me. I can't decide how I feel about this. I suspected it was going to happen, and part of me is happy but part of me is sad. I also kind of wish I didn't know so that I could be properly surprised when officially told, but oh well. *cryptic cryptic cryptic*

So I'm tired of this as my default icon. It was handy for a while, because it's nicely ambiguous and can also be silly, and as a bonus it's very nerdy (a real annalemma picture! neat!), but I am bored with it now and ready to not be so ambiguous. Pick my new default icon. Or I guess I could add a new one. But then again, I already have 99, so maybe I don't really need more... Meh. I am indecisive and tired!

I just turned my Binary Clock on it's side on my desk and whoa trippy.

My lunch is over but I don't particularly want to go back to work. I am ready for it to be tomorrow night so I can go eat delicious fondue and get my wonderful papasan chair.

I would think I would prefer binary clocks that told the time using numbers instead of digits (i.e., "42" would be 101010 instead of 100 0010). Plus it would use less LEDs.

Also, I may have to second Kapow Kitty, although Yay! would be at least as good.

Yeah, it is kinda cheating, but it's still a fun thing to have on the desk. It confuses my coworkers and confirms that I am, indeed, the weird one.

I think I'll have to side with "Universe: *expands*"

'Cause there are no occasions to which it isn't relevant.

Otherwise I would go with π. Obviously. :-p

I have a confesion to make.

I've never been able to figure out what your current icon is.
It is a picture of the analemma, from Astronomy Picture of the Day (http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap020709.html). That gives a simple explanation, but a more detailed one is on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analemma).

Basically, it is the path the sun appears to take if you take a picture of it every day at the same time from the same place. It's pretty nifty.
