I've been reading
kandigurl's 2006 NaNoWriMo novel "The Spaghetti Incident" at work (I told you I had nothing to do) and man, it's a fun book. It's crazy and random and fun. And there is lots of stuff that clearly came out of NOWHERE.
And it just hit me that, in planning my novel in advance, I'm going to have a LOT less room for crazy stuff to come out of nowhere. And now I'm panicking a little. I've never succeeded in NaNoWriMo with a plotted-out novel before! Am I insane? I am going to DIE.
DIE.
