So this morning I had a dream. It was exceedingly odd. It involved Narnia, football jerseys, ninjas, baby carriages, and the Joy Toy Kids.
Aslan called all of the Joy Toy Kids to come to Narnia, because he needed our help. There was going to be a small battle, but he didn't tell us what. He showed us a pile of football jerseys and told us to each pick out one. We all tried to get the same-colored ones, red ones cause there were more reds than any other color, so we could be all be on the same team. Except one girl (I can't tell if it was Aravis or Joanna??) picked a green one, rather apologetically. She for some reason didn't want to be like us. Then we had to put on football shoulder pads, rather small ones now that I think about it. I didn't know how to put on the pads, so Josh had to help me (not Josh/Melodymaker, Joshua from Houston).
Anyhow, I don't know how the battle started. At that point my alarm clock went off. I hit snooze and stumbled back into bed (my alarm clock is on the other side of the room, so I have to literally get up and find it to turn it off). I promptly fell back alseep and was back in my dream. I wasn't right where I left off, though.
I was in a computer game, somehow. Like I knew the screen was behind me and I was looking at the game. It was a scene with a baby in a baby carriage and the baby's parents. I "clicked" on the baby, which was a secret hidden in the game that I somehow knew, and the screen behind me turned into a secret door, which led me back to Narnia.
When I got there, the battle was going on. We were losing terrifically. The enemy was more technologically advanced than us, and they had ninjas. Not just regular ninjas, but ninjas with expanding darts. They threw the darts at us, and instead of just sticking us, the darts stuck onto us and then got longer, like those pens that you click in and out only deadlier. I saw one ninja throw two darts at someone's feet, and one landed on each foot and then they expanded and the person's feet got pinned to the ground.
I think I woke up again here, and when I got back into bed I was at the baby "screen" again. This time I clicked on the baby's stroller (I found it really funny that the parents were totally oblivious to all this) and a menu popped up. I had to click on a secret spot on the menu to get the door to show up this time.
When I got back to Narnia, we were all hiding behind pillars (I don't know why there were pillars outside, but there were). I left my body hiding somewhere and the "camera", so to speak, followed Joshua as he was dodging around pillars. He managed to kill one ninja, and as I woke up for the final time there was a ninja coming around the pillar he was hiding behind and he was trying to run away.
Yeah. Ummm... I'm confused.
At least I think I know where most of the parts came from. The football references come from this post. Narnia and Aslan (and maybe Aravis?) came from my recent re-reading of a certain 7 wonderful books. The Joy Toy Kids are all there cause I've been thinking how cool it would be to get us all into one place (does this mean we'll all only meet in Narnia? To battle againt ninjas? Ooo, Calormene ninjas...). The "technoogically advanced" enemy (yes, that exact phrase was in my dream, somehow) comes from playing Age of Empires too much recently. The rest, though, is completely random as far as I can tell. Eh. It was a good/entertaining dream.
Oh, and thanks to everyone for the clarification on the 5-second/minute rule. That's valuable information, there. I should write a book.
