DUBLIN DR PEPPER

ATTENTION LOCAL PEEPS.

This Sunday (or maybe this Saturday) I will be going down to Stephenville to pick up a TON of Dublin Dr Peppers for my mom's store (by the way, my mom owns a store now, did I ever mention that?). If any of y'all want any, give me MONIES and I will get you some.

I called the WalMart and they said that cans are $1.98 for 12 and bottles are $3.48 for 6. However, the more I think about it, the more I think maybe they misquoted me on the cans... they might be $1.98 for 6, since they come in 6-packs. I should maybe call them back again.

LET ME KNOW.

Rock on for your mom! Those Dr. Pepper's will go like lightning! I swear, it actually tastes different, but that's just me. :P

Hm...perhaps I should nab one before the drive...

she owns a store? 'splain?

Also, I'll just tack on some extra bucks for some bottles when I pay for you for the internets.

When my parents moved down to Palmer, there was this old store that had been closed because the previous owners retired or something. My mom decided to buy it and open it back up. It's a convenience store type thing, and she's working on getting like a pizza oven and stuff going. She opened in April, and it's been doing really well. Most businesses they say don't turn a profit until after a year or two... but she's already turning a profit. But then again, that's what happens when you're the only grocery-type store in a tiny town :-P

I didn't know your mom owns a store. What kind of store is it?

Shamelessly copy&pasted from above:

Wow, yeah, that's impressive if she's already turning a profit! That's really neat. :-)
