Pictures! Of Cats!
It's funny how similar these two cats are, and how different. They both love to cuddle, and they both like to be up by my neck when they do. They both have the same loud, pathetic meow when I go into another room and shut the door. They both try to get into the shower with me but can't figure out how to do so without getting wet. But at the same time, they look very different, and feel different. Tiger's fur is shorter and coarser, and he has more muscle. Hawking is softer of fur and body. Hawking is longer and leaner, while Tiger has the gigantic paws. I think he is going to grow up to be bigger than her. She has huge ears when she was smaller, but she's already mostly grown into them. Tiger still has a long way to go before he grows into those paws.
Also, don't tell anyone, but I alllllllmost wish I could keep Tiger. Almost. But man, three cats in one apartment is too many. It would be a Bad Thing. And I would probably go broke trying to feed them, since the two kittens have eating contests every time they go near the bowl. And I think my coworker would cry. She asks me about him every day. That's half the reason I have taken so many pictures, to show her that her baby boy is okay :-)
Also also: Hawking chewed through the cord of my DS charger. She has already chewed through the cord of my phone charger and several hair ties. Luckily I have spares of those, but now I have to buy a separate DS charger. I told her that this is SO not going to fly with me, but she blew me off. I wish I could catch her in the act so I could teach her not to do it. I'm just waiting for her to try to chew on something dangerous and hurt herself.
