To borrow a metaphor, I hate fake geese!
Dang it, I wanted Ron to die! Grar.
Anyways, a few hours ago I finished OotP. I liked it, but I didn't like it. A good book, yes, but I found myself looking at page numbers thinking, "Ok, so is something going to happen soon or is this a two-part book?"
And with reference to geese... Gar, I hated all of the fake ones. Ok, the first one, yeah, that was expected. One fake out is a gimme, cause everyone knew *someone* was going to die. I thought it was kinda funny, actually. But after that it just got annoying.
Oh, and the stuff in the Pensieve... whoa. Man, had I been Harry, I totally would have apologized, and I started getting mad at Harry for not just doing so, then I remembered that Harry really is a pretty dumb guy. He really spent a lot of time proving how dumb he is in this book. The whole Cho thing, the whole "No, really, tell me things or I'm going to pout and get angry like a small child" thing, plus the fact that he kept goading that horrible toad and doing stupid things in general.
Oh, and Dumbledore? Yeah, it's kind of a relief to see him screw up. No one should be as wise and perfect as he seemed to be. Though seeing him kick tail was waaaaaaaay cool.
