Tesla

I just remembered the other thing I wanted to mention last night. Tesla! She is loving this apartment. I am very happy about this. She likes sitting in the windows, she likes the afternoon sun that comes in, and she especially likes my new comforter. She disappears underneath it and just hangs out under there. Nutty little kitty. She's not being clingy at all, and she's eating normally, and she's very content. Hurrah! I was a little worried she might not like the move.

Guys, be proud of me. I had fish for lunch. I'm still working on the whole "hey I don't really hate fish!" thing, so I went to Long John Silvers and got a fish/chicken combo thingy and actually ended up eating only the fish. It was pretty good! Also I got malt vinegar to put on the fries. Man I love malt vinegar. But anyways, yes! I had fish, and I enjoyed it! This is still a novel concept to me.

Also I called a place in Dallas that miiiiiiight be able to help me find shoes that would enable me to run without my bum ankle exploding. If they can't help me, I'll try the podiatrist. I'm gonna go there this weekend, hopefully.

Okay, back to the floor to work on this calendar.

Is the place in Dallas Luke's Locker? Because I don't like them much. They're snobby, for the most part.

You should try Fort Worth Running Co. on Camp Bowie. They're super nice, and very accommodating. I've run races with the owners a couple of times, and they really know their stuff :)

A guy at the gym recommended "Run On!". I called them and it sounds like maybe they can help me? I don't know. I'm a chellenging case. I have wide, flat feet, and a bad left ankle. I'll have to try the FW Running Co (closer!) and see what they have to say :-)

Okay, so I went there and they gave me some very very comfy shoes. I ran on their treadmill for a little bit and it was totally comfortable. I'm going to hit up the gym treadmill this week and hopefully hopefully hopefully this will do the trick.

And aww, I'm glad she's feeling happy at home! Kitties are so yay.

I'm happy about your apartment, yay! What a great thing for a new year!

(Fish is a wonderful thing, I'm glad you're beginning to like it! Might I suggest grabbing a fillet of blackened salmon next time you're in a grocery store? Drizzle with olive oil and flip some lemon slices next to it to roast and let it bake at 400 until it starts to flake. :) )
