I feel like there's some reason I couldn't go Saturday, but there's NO reason I couldn't go Monday :) (So I'd be going twice, so what, I missed the turtle races last time!)
I thought *all* renfaires were called "Scarborough Faire" because of that song, and it totally blew my mind when someone commented on my LJ last year, asking "YOU MEAN THERE IS AN ACTUAL SCARBOROUGH FAIRE??"
Yeah, perhaps it's only funny to me, but I'm a dork like that.
No, it's sad. No-one wants to go with me. *whines* The man doesn't care for such things... & friends all either out of town or otherwise spoken for on the weekends.
I'm not sure of the exact time. My friend will probably be at my house sometimes after noon, then we have to get down there, so I'm not 100% sure. If you'd like, I can arrange for us to be at the Cottage Stone to see Donal Hinely at 2:30 or so... that should definitely be plenty of time for us to get there and everything. It's near the Mud Pit if I remember correctly, and the guy plays the Glass Harmonica (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass_harmonica) and it's absolutely hypnotic.
