Jun. 5th, 2002 03:10 pmSo much to say, not sure if I will be able to say it all!
Ok, first off, my last EVER day of high school was Friday, and it was a half-day so we got out at noon. We all (Anne, Andrew, Victor, Marisol, James, William, and I) decided we would go out to lunch or something in celebration. We decided that someplace downtown would be good. Than the school peoples decided that everyone needed to leave the parking lot THAT INSTANT. So we decided to meet at some parking lot downtown and then decide. William and I didn't know where this was, so we were just going to follow everyone else.
Guess what. Yup, we got separated.
So William followed me to and we went to a gas station and tried to call Andrew, but his mom wasn't home to give us his cell number. So we went to Burger King. We ate and then went to the Texaco (or Chevron as William kept calling it) and bought batteries for my MP3 player, which were packaged in a foriegn language looking like Japanese. Then we were sitting in my car trying to decide what to do, since we are both totally indecisive.
We sat and listened to JE (He is also a fan, the only other one besides me within about 5 million miles). Then we decided to go to his house and hang out, so we did and I got to meet his dad.
So we sat in his room and listened to Arrogant Worms and JE. Then we watched a few JE music videos (I finally got to see Monosynth and Burgundy Years, and both are freaky!) and in general hung out and chatted, from like 3 till nearly 6, and it was fun.
So that was Friday.
Saturday was Graduation, and it was crunk like a mug. The first person across the stage did the horns gesture (Make two fists, and then bump the thumb sides of said fists against your forhead, like horns, and that is the gesture, it is such a long-running joke... ^_^), and it went downhill from there. ET danced across the stage. James' sarcasm showed from afar. It was such a NOT dignified ceremony, it was great. There was even a beach ball floating around at the end. Afterwards, Anne, James, William, Victor and James' mom and sisters *stole* me and we went to I-HOP. It was fun.
That was Saturday.
Today, Sunday, was my open-house/graduation party shindig. Anne, William, and Victor came to the whole thing, and we freaked out all of the adult peoples there by being in general crazy. Throughout the day our ages just regressed and regressed. It was crazy-fun. Then we all went to my house to listen to my new CD (AQUABATS: The Fury of the AQUABATS!) and Andrew, Jess, and James came over and we went nuts. We DESTROYED a Physics book the teacher didn't know I had, ripping out all of the pages and having a paper-ball fight in my bedroom. Then we each gathered a handful and solemnly carried them through the living room to give them a proper funeral in the fireplace.
Then we all sat out in the glass room and just chilled, or went nuts some more. Victor and I discovered that both of us are ticklish, so we got into bouts. My 4 y/o cousin now has a crush on William, so she goofed off with him. All the while, everyone was just hanging and having fun. I had such a great time, and we have enough food left over to kill a few armies. Wow, it was great.
Man, I am gonna miss these people.
People from High School I will miss:
Andrew & Jess
William
Anne
Victor
James
