Huzzah for weekends!
Apr. 21st, 2007 10:29 pmI do so love weekends. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like my job and I like school, but weekends are just so lovely, what with all the free time to do things.
Today was CLEANING. I cleaned my kitchen, which took more time than you'd think considering how tiny it is, and did dishes. I cleaned my room (as in, the only room there is, since I have a studio) and finally got the cable all niced up going from my modem to my computer. No longer do I have a mass of tangled CAT5 cable in the middle of my room! It is taped very nicely to the wall, and the floor, and coiled up behind my computer. You see, I have 50 feet of the stuff, plus another 50 feet coiled up in a bag in my closet. I used to need that much to get it from the family computer and router to my computer in my bedroom... now all that cable could probably encircle my miniature apartment a couple dozen times.
What a tangent. But yes, cleaning happened today, and I rediscovered the color of my carpet. It is not, in fact, bill-colored, but is tan.
I forgot to put the space in "is tan" and typed it "istan" and got "Istabul (Not Constantinople)" stuck in my head.
I have been full of rambles and sass lately. I dunno what's up. I either go off on random tangents or I sass people into silence. I managed to render Ronnie Martin speechless when I ever-so-politely asked about the fog machine, and we spent most of the day Friday at work rambling.
I don't really have anything else useful to say. So, um, I'm off to play more Puzzle Quest.
