SO I just got home from babysitting my coworker's daughter. She is a really cool kid! We watched the new live-action Charlotte's Web, and it was adorable! Then we played with her "arctic explorer" set, and it was awesome! Then we played with her kitchen set, and she made me cake! Then I read her a Dr Seuss book and it was totally nostalgic! Then I knitted for two hours until her parents got home.

I have monies now, so I am totally treating myself to something extra-delicious tomorrow. I am very much looking forward to going grocery shopping, because I also still haven't spent my grocery money from last week, and it's already almost next week! YAY.

Goonies

So the other day at work they were talking about The Goonies and I said I'd never seen it and my coworkers promptly went "OMG!" and the next day a lady had brought me the DVD. I just watched it.

It was pretty good! I don't think I quite get why everyone ever is so "OMG" about it, but I liked it a lot. It kind of felt like a NaNoWriMo movie, and I definitely approve of that.

Anyways, my plans for the rest of today involve baking cookies and then watching House and knitting some more. And possibly making more of that amazing pasta salad I made the other day. Man, that was the best I've ever had anywhere.

OMG

Guess what, guys?

MY STOVE IS WHITE.

After much dis-assembling and scrubbing, I have discovered this. It is amazing. Perhaps this means that the drip bowls aren't black! Let's go find out.

edit: They are actually shiny metal things! Also, I seem to have stained the biggest one permanently! I guess there is a reason my dad always called me "Messica"!
