This place is just getting worse and worse.

The other night I found about... 10? Ish. 10ish little baby roaches in the soap dispenser in my dishwasher. You know, the dishwasher that had just been run, so it was as clean as it ever gets? I pulled the dishes out, closed the door on the little vermin, and ran it again. In hindsight, I should have poured bleach or something in there first.

They closed the office. The perfectly good office that is in our complex is now closed, and we have to walk over to the office across the street to pay our rent or talk to anyone. If you call the office phone number, you get a recording that says nothing about this move. It is not until you walk over to the office that you see a note on the door explaining that you have to go to the complex across the street. And then, when you walk immediately across the street to the entrance that is right there, there are no signs that say "Hey! The office is ova there--->". No no no, you get to wander around until you find it, or until you find someone to ask for directions.

AND. As an added bonus? The recording that you do hear when you call says "Thank you for calling [other apartment complex], our hours are 8-6 M-F, 10-5 Saturday, 1-6 Sunday". So I walked over there at 11ish, and lo! They are closed. The sign on their door says they are closed Saturdays, period. So I called them and left an irate message telling them to please kindly correct their recording so that people won't walk over there just to find them closed.

AND AND. They still haven't fixed my blinds. On Tuesday I called and asked them to come fix my blinds. They said they would send someone the next day. Wednesday morning, I left a note taped to my blinds (past experience has taught me that the office doesn't always get the details right) that described the problem. I came home that night and found the note gone, that my couch had been moved.... but nothing was fixed. Nice. I called back the next day and asked about it, and they said they would send him back out the same day. I asked for a copy of my lease at the same time and she said it would be there when I got home. Aaaaaand of course I still have not had my blinds fixed, nor do I have a copy of my lease.

So now I'm sitting here analyzing last year's Overtime Checks and putting in my new pay amount so that I can figure out how much I'll have to play with in December and January so I can get the heck out of dodge. I'm going to look very closely at my lease and figure out exactly what is required to break my lease, then I am going to get a place somewhere else and get my ducks in a row, and then I am breaking this stupid lease and LEAVING.

I AM FED UP. Does it show much?
