Last Friday I missed speech class. Yeah, nothing new, but the reason why was really cool so I shall tell you.
I was walking from my computer class to my speech class, fully intending to complete the journey, when my friend and I spotted a giant chess set, set up in the lawn. We walked over to investigate, and we found that the peices were made of styrofoam or something similarly light-weight. The pawns were about two feet tall, and the kings were about 4 feet, with the rest ranging in there. The board was all set up like someone was gonna play. We stood there, wondering why it was there, when someone else walked up and challenged one of us to a game. I declined, but my friend decided to play.
Three and a half games later, it was time for Astronomy. It was fun to watch, though, and some lady came out and was shocked that people were actually using the board, and took pictures. I was in one, where she got a group of us (a buncha people had also stopped to watch) to sit on a rock and smile for the camera.
Hey, wouldn't it be cool if I was in the catalog or something... weird...
Anywho, I'm bored. The End.
