My neighbor's dog is crying. It's still barking, has been since about 8 I think, but now I can hear her by the door crying. It is breaking my heart to hear it.

And my neighbor STILL refuses to address this! For you see, I am clearly only complaining because I have a grudge against him. I'm not concerned at all for the dog, I just am trying to aggravate him.

And yes, I called animal services. I didn't want to call the police like the apartment complex told me to, because I didn't know what they would do, so I looked it up online and found a page on city codes and stuff, including a number for animal services. They are going to send him a letter. I hope this gets his attention and he does something for his dog before someone more complainey moves in to my empty apartment. The dog does not need to go to a city shelter :-(

I just sent an email to the planetarium at the Pacific Science Center asking what the requirements are to work as a teacher in the planetarium, or just as a general science teacher person in the museum proper. I also asked what they look for specifically at their place. If I could work there, I would be fulfilling two dreams in one go- I'd be doing what I love AND living in Washington state.

(I used to be obsessed with the idea of moving to Washington. I remember applying to colleges just because they were in Washington. Seriously. Of course, this was before my parents told me that I wasn't going anywhere since I was graduating young. The obsession has lessened, but I would still looooooove to live up there. Or even Oregon. The northwest, anyhow.)

Also: I made salsa! It came out a little hotter than I usually like it, because I didn't remove the seeds from the jalapeƱos (I didn't have any gloves, so I didn't want to handle them a whole lot). I am glad I only used 3 of the 5 peppers the recipe called for. I'm going to divvy it up and add things to is, to experiment. I'm going to try adding sugar and pineapple, and see which I like best.

I also made tortilla chips from corn tortillas. They are delicious. I baked them in batches, and om nom nom.

I just realized I have not eaten today, except for the quarter of a piece of cake Megzilla brought me and the few chips I sampled (I had to make sure they were turning out okay, you see). I am kind of hungry. I am going to go eat something.
