  • 00:26 Hawking is going to drive me crazy. She sits in the other room and whines and begs for attention. The logic, it is not there. Cats! Geez. #
  • 18:34 @mightymur Keep in mind Palin is the woman who couldn't say what newspapers she reads, when she was asked three times. #
  • 20:04 Maaaaaaaaan I am feeling lethargic. Movement is unwanted. Also I don't have enough quarters to do laundry. Boo. #

I've been reading [livejournal.com profile] kandigurl's 2006 NaNoWriMo novel "The Spaghetti Incident" at work (I told you I had nothing to do) and man, it's a fun book. It's crazy and random and fun. And there is lots of stuff that clearly came out of NOWHERE.

And it just hit me that, in planning my novel in advance, I'm going to have a LOT less room for crazy stuff to come out of nowhere. And now I'm panicking a little. I've never succeeded in NaNoWriMo with a plotted-out novel before! Am I insane? I am going to DIE.

DIE.

WEATHER!

jesso: (Yay!)
It is 55 degrees! There is a lovely breeze! Driving home from class with the windows down, my fingers got cold! My windows are open now, and it feels wonderful!

I want to sleep with the windows open, but I'm afraid one of the cats will pop the screens out and get loose. They are ridiculously easy to pop out. I think tomorrow I am going call the office and ask about better screens. One is torn, one is bent, and all three just POP at a little bit of a push. I am determined to have my yearly Night Of Sleeping Under The Siberian Blanket With The Windows Open In Temperatures Below Freezing, and I don't want to have to lock my cats in another room to do so.
