So, 3 years ago, when I went Black Friday Shopping and got my first ipod, I swore I would never participate in such madness again. Ever.
Then I found out that Nintendo was releasing a limited-edition Gold DS with a Triforce and my heart went "OMG".
Then my heart threatened to kill me if I didn't get this DS. I mean, it has a Triforce on it.
So, this morning I woke up at ugly o'clock, got to Best Buy at 4:30, and got in line. It was 35 degrees. I really should buy a coat someday.
At 5am (5! In the morning. I never get up that early, as a rule! It just isn't right!) they started letting people in to the store in batches, so they could keep it organized (a good idea) and I was in, got my DS, paid for it, and was out by 5:30.
The box is sitting right there on my couch. I'm not allowed to open it until I write 3000 words, because I'm woefully behind on my novel.
By the way, does anyone want to buy my Black DS Lite? If no one wants it, I'll probably sell it on ebay so I can get more then the $5 I'd probably get at Gamestop. With Christmas coming up, I would get a lot more for it that way.
