Whew.

Well that was crazy. I dunno what happened. At about 5pm Saturday, when the heat sapped me so badly, my mood kept getting fouler and fouler, and then on Monday everything conspired to make it even worse, and it was just crazy/horrible. I'm feeling a lot better, a good part of that being cause William is very good at being nice and sweet and all that good stuff.

Anywho, we were dogsitting my aunt's two (incredibly STUPID) dogs, and they chased away the kitty (after, of course, she held her ground for a while... all we heard was "BARK BARK BARK YIIIP! BARK BARK YIPP! BARK BARK BARK BARK YIIIIP!"). Today she finally reappeared, and her patches are worse. Poor thing. Hopefully soon we'll get to take her to a vet and get her taken care of. In the meantime, I'm feeding her and trying to give her attention so she'll hang around and become ours (or we'll become hers, you know how it is with cats).

It seems that in Physics we are done with the really tedious, horrible graphs. Now we're on to tedious math, but that's not so bad. The bad part is when I get it wrong and can't figure it out... One may say, "But Jessica, didn't you take both Tech Science and Physics in High School?" To this I answer thusly: Yes, but with the teachers I had (except Tech. Sci., but that was too basic to count) I learned next to nothing. All the trig stuff I'm supposed to know, all the weird little angle tricks I'm supposed to know... I don't. I'm managing to learn it well enough as I go along, though, so it's not too bad. I do, however, hate Mr. Blake with an even more intense passion than before. Not only does he creep me out, but he screwed up my education. *mutters* But at least I'm not totally lost, I'm managing to keep up well enough, so it's all good.

Oh, and today I sat next to Adam Smith, for those of you who remember him from Dunbar, and we chatted. Him and his brother were always so nice. I remember my mom always thought they were giving me rides home... if she had known it was Andrew I think she woulda flipped, cause she claimed she didn't know him well enough to trust him at the time. Hee hee hee.

Oh, and I have a new icon thingummy. My physics teacher was telling us about vector addition by the parallelogram method, and he mentioned perpendicularograms, just as a joke, and of course my brain latched onto the idea and I couldn't rest until I had figured out how it would work. See, instead of opposite sides being parallel, like a square, and boring, like a square, the opposite sides are perpendicular.

What? I liked the thought...

In the meantime, 3 days till Saturday, when William will be back here and I can see him. Not that I'm, like, looking forward to it or anything... nope, not missing him at alllll... except, you see, I am. Eh. *shrugs*
