I LOVE THIS WEATHER!
It's cold and grey and cloudy and windy and slightly rainy when it feels like it and cold and grey and wonderful! I wish it would stay like this all the time! I LOVE this!
The other day I had to stop by the bank and use the drive-thru ATM, and since my window doesn't go back up on it's own I was planning on getting out of my car to do my business but then someone pulled up behind me and they were acting all impatient so I just rolled my window most of the way down (If I roll it all the way down it's nearly impossible to get back up cause I have to literally pull it back up with my hands) and used the ATM and as I was driving home I decided to roll down the rear windows, too (the front passenger window won't roll down, it only rolls up...), and so I drove all the way home with the windows down while it was like 50 degrees outside (F, not Kelvin (hee hee hee)) and by the time I got home I was freezing but it was so much FUN and I loved it!!!
You can tell I'm excited cause that's all one sentence. Hee hee hee.
So I've been listening to Novembery music, too. I've got more this year than last year. Interpol, Postal Service, Starflyer 59, Simon and Garfunkel, Travelogue, Petracovich, Seven Nations, Shepherd... such good stuff.
Also, speaking of November, I've mentioned this but have yet to "officially" announce it, but I'm doing NaNoWriMo. I'm behind at the moment, but I'm happy with my story so it's ok. No, you can't read it. Maybe perhaps after I'm done with the whole thing, I might possibly consider maybe thinking about letting people glance at it, but for now, no. FYI, so far I'm at 4,646 words, out of 50,000. Almost 10% done. And I don't have a title. It's exciting, you see.
Oh hush.
So last night I slept with the window open. I had my box fan in my window, on low. I had my fuzzy caffeine blanket with my furry big heavy blanket (I checked and it's cotton... but it feels like silky fur, thus the need for a fuzzy blanket between me and the cold silkiness) on top and it was sooooooo nice and warm and cozy. Of course, it took me two hours to get up this morning, but oh well. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I don't need to hurry.
Yeah, I'm a freak of nature. Oh well. I like it. It's especially nice when I put my back up against the wall (with a bit of blanket as insulation) and curl up and mmmmmmmmmm.........
Also, I am officially excited for winter. While I was driving home with the windows down, I was blasting Christmas music (thumpity thump thump, thumpity thump thump, look at Frosty go...) and it felt so right, like it was Christmas Eve or something. Yay!
Ok, I'm done... I'm going to run off to my freezing-cold bedroom now and change into my equally-cold pajamas (they've been sitting in my cold room all day, duh...) and then jump into my cold bed and make myself a warm spot and listen to Interpol and Seven Nations and the Postal Service until I fall asleep... man, isn't it great???
Whoo!
PS: The subject line's for you, Andrya!
