Cut because I couldn't bring myself to shrink down this beautiful picture of my wonderful pi bag )

Also I got new dishes and a Dutch Oven. I'm pretty excited, I'm going to run them through the dishwasher and then hug them. A coworker gave them to me, because she didn't want them anymore nad they didn't sell at her garage sale. A full set of plates and bowls, a dutch oven, an ice cream scoop, a pasta spoon-with-teeth thingy, and a heart-shaped dip bowl, all for the low low price of free. YES.

Oh oh oh, and I went to the gym today. I've not been in a while, because of things exploding at work and making me go "ugh", but I went tonight and it was pretty awesome.

Now I'm really tired and I think I'll go to bed. Tomorrow is gonna be fun.

I feel really, really good right now. I went to the gym and worked up a good sweat (20 min on the treadmill, 20 on the bikey thing) and then came home and took a shower and then ate a delicious salad. My goodness, there really is nothing quite as nice as having a cool, crisp, refreshing salad after you've just washed off a good sweat. I'd forgotten that.

While I was enjoying dinner, I was also reading more of Hugh Laurie's book. I'm just getting to the part where everything is going to happen, so I'm going to go read some more.

Oh, and the rice balls were very much appreciated by Preggo #2. All day I kept hearing "Jessica, have I told you how much I love you?? Because I do." ...as she ate another one. I think next I'm gonna have to make Fire Crackers for her, because she loves those, too. I'd have to get pepperoni to go with those, though. They are pretty much the best thing ever when paired with pepperoni. I should probably find something I can make for Preggo #1, too, but that's harder because 1) I don't know her so well, and 2) she's got more pregnancy-related health problems than I could shake a stick at.

Man, I feel good right now. Hurrah for endorphins!

PS: This mood icon is made a million times better because I know what is happening in this episode :D

So I went in for my free "Assessment" session and it turns out? The name is A LIE. It's really a TORTURE SESSION.

Jerk.

So after I limped out of the gym, I went to a write-in with Megzilla and Jess and Jeffrey and I think Jeffrey wrote a whole 7 words. I think it was his most productive day ever. I myself wrote a couple hundred words... but not on my script.

I've officially quit ScriFre, but because I HATE writing in script format, not because of any lack of inspiration or motivation. I want to write this story in my head, but I detest the screenplay formatting. It's tedious and stupid and fiddly and stupid and stupid and I don't like it. I think maybe I'll use this idea for my outside-of-NaNoWriMo novel.

Mmmm, I just found some yogurt in my fridge that I thought was expired, but the lid says it's good until July 3. This is very exciting, because it's strawberry, and delicious.

I'm rambling, aren't I? La la la. Bed time! WHEEE!

(It's funny, since my bed is just a box spring and a mattress on the floor, I really can dive, crash, or fall into bed. I love my bed for that reason. Who need bedframes, really?)

GYM

I went to the GYM today. I wore my shorts and worked out. Okay, so according to some of my coworkers they aren't really shorts, because they are knee-length, but you know what? That's more leg than I've shown in years. My pasty, round calves were nekkid, so all the world could gawk at the random, lonely freckly on my right shin.

I just sort of got in there and did half an hour on the bikey thing, but by the end, yeah, I was feeling it. Probably because I have a tendency to set things too high and then kill myself. Then I set up an appointment for Monday to get my free "fitness evaluation". The universe was totally smiling at me, because the trainer who happened to be standing there when I expressed interest in this deal was the really attractive-looking one with all the interesting tattoos. I saw him in there when I was with dad getting my membership set up. On his left forearm he has a big atom, and on his right arm he has a sleeve of some random design with random images laid over it. I don't remember any particular ones, but I remember seeing them and thinking "That's interesting, I wonder why he had that permanently marked upon his body?"

I guess mostly I'm excited to see the tattoos up close. I wanna know what they are. They are not the normal "MOM"-in-a-heart tattoos.

ANYWAYS. Gym = YES. I'm looking forward to going back. Just as I expected, I didn't let myself slack because I totally felt the eyes of every single person watching me and judging me.

(Yes, I know, no one in there gives a rat's patootie who I am or if I slack off. But it's darn good motivation, know whut I mean, Vern?)

Other good things that happened today: I got my sunglasses fixed, I got my book in the mail, and a lady at work selling a couch lowered her price from $300 to $200, so I might just go for it, since next month is a three-paycheck month.

I am feeling faaaaaantastic.
